What is wrong with MySQL (Server)

Mowes portable III on USB

I get the http://localhost/ screen

I can go yo phpMyAdmin and it shows the database.

But when I try to go to my /genealogy/admin/setup.php and do a diagnostics I get this error

MySQL version:
(TNG requires 4.0.1 or higher.) MySQL mysqlnd 5.0.5-dev - 081106 - $Revision: 1.3.2.27 $ (client) Green running

MySQL (server) RED Not running

Webserver: Apache/2.2.11 (Win32) PHP/5.3.0 Green running

My config.php setting:

$rootpath = getenv("DOCUMENT_ROOT")."/genealogy/";
$homepage = "index.php";
$tngdomain = "F://www/genealogy/";
$sitename = "Murray - Gill Families Genealogy";

I tried different variations of ($tngdomain but still have problem.

When I try to go to a page in my genealogy folder I get this error:

Cannot open F:/www/localhost/genealogy/genlog.txt

Focus on features is a new series in which I will present some new features of MoWeS Portable III.
Let me present 3 features today.
1. Intelligent Server Start
2. Port Controller
3. Status Indicator

1. Intelligent Server Start
MoWeS Portable III handles the start of the server applications more intellligent than MoWeS Portable II. First MoWeS Portable III checks if an application with the same exe name OR a given window title is already running. If it is already running MoWeS will set the status indicator of the application in the main control panel to orange. This means the application is running in another instance already. Starting the application anyways will result in a dialog box with 5 choices:

Start: Start will try to start the application anyways
Stop & Start: Will force the application in the other instance to stop and then MoWeS will start the application.
Own: MoWeS will try to own the other instance by pushing the process id into the runtimeAppHandle property of the application. Normally this works fine but MoWeS will not be able to control the application if it was started with elevated rights
Cancel: Cancel will just close the dialog

2. Port Controller
MoWeS Portable III has an integrated port controller. This port controller makes sure that a port is not yet open when an application is launched. The port is specified in the package config file as packagePort. This should resolve the most problems of people having trouble launching Apache and MySQL so far.

3. Status Indicator
The status indicator shows if MoWeS is busy with a background task and indicates that it is not crashed. I added a label next to the indicator showing WHAT is currently happening.

Even have downloaded the 90 app package for it. Since I'm new to this would appreciate being walked through best way to get the 90 app package for Mowes III on the same USB stick without it overwriting MowesIII.

Im sure a lot of people have experienced the same experiences as me with this program, and while it is excellent, it really is lacking in security. I think it would really improve it if before installation began you are prompted with a password dialog, preferably one for each piece of software that would automatically be included in the SQL database. Even if this was only possible to set a master password for all, it would still improve security greatly. Im aware that it is possible to create an account for every type of server you use, but for those who use all or most of them, this is a very tedious process.
