Hallo, sorry i am German,
i have since 2009 lern to write simple HTML without CSS and others. And have handmade all Sites from www.prisodi.de self. I want work without a active Internetconnection, and a Profi tell me that MoWeS is the right Tool to work on my Forum offline.

But i dont can start the Setup from the PHP-Forum
(I have made in the Folder "WWW" a exacktly Structur from my online-webserver,
but it dont work with the Settings. When i start MOWES comes the Startpage but i dont know the Adress from the Install-Setup with the Folder
...\prisodi.de\web\forum_html\index.php

Please help me, have you a german Page for Questions?

MoWeS: What's next?

Dear Community,

I am amazed how popular MoWeS became and currently I am wondering what's next with MoWeS? But therefore I need your help!

The development of MoWeS Portable III has started but many system do not yet have installed the needed .NET framework which would make MoWeS Portable III not that portable as I want it to be. On Windows 7 MoWeS Portable II seems to run fine and thus I do not see the sense to continue to develop MoWeS Portable III (this does not mean the development is cancelled but only postponed!).

But that does not mean that MoWeS development should pause. What are your ideas and suggestions? What do you really miss when using MoWeS?

Let me know and let's make MoWeS even better!

Tomcat package released

I am just about to prepare a Apache - Tomcat - MySQL - PHP5 package for Project MoWeS.
Tomcat is already running wonderfull and connected to Apache with the JK connector.
Now I only have to make sure that the paths are set correctly by MoWeS!

You see, there is nothing you cannot do with MoWeS!!!

Installation of MoWeS Portable III Alpha

We are proud to release the MoWeS Portable III Alpha to the Project MoWeS contributors!

To run MoWeS Portable III just unzip the file you downloaded to any directory and run the mowes.exe.
Please make sure that Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or later is installed on your system.

To download the most recent version of the .NET Framework (currently 3.5) go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta … laylang=en

If you have any problems running MoWeS Portable III post them here or send us a mail. Use the debug menu to create a file called debug.zip in the MoWeS directory which contains some information about the current configuration (feel free to check the file out!)

I really enjoy using MoWeS in my never-ending pursuit of useful web apps. However, my main computer is running OS X. So... is MoWeS code available so I can try porting it to OS X? And if that is successful, Linux/BSD.

Changes concerning MoWeS Premium

Hi guys,

within the next days project MoWeS will start. In this thread I want to keep you updated about the upcoming changes and projects.

One of the first steps that will be taken is the change of MoWeS Premium. All MoWeS Premium user will be assigned to four different categories:

1) Bronze: Donation between €1.5 and €5, only package access, no support
2) Silver: Donation between €5 and €10, package access and 4 support tickets
3) Gold: Donation between €10 and €20, package access and 12 support tickets
4) Platin: Donation above €20, package access and infinite support tickets

All existing MoWeS Premium users will be assigned to their categories and will support tickets get filled up, no matter how many they used till doay.

Why do we have to do that?
Because there are people out there that donate €1,50 and then expect us to give a lot of support. This is just not possible and the time I need for other projects is missing then.

Feedback is welcome as usual :-)
