Topic: Apache starts then dies Mysql OK Vista

Starting up MOWES ok
Apache and Mysql both start then
Apache dies and is listed in red as not started.

Vista...
Works fine when I end Mowes and move the thumb drive to my xp machine.
when I move it back to notebook same thing happens.

additional information -

running httpd.exe gives "Syntax error on line 64 of G:/Server/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:  ServerRoot must be a valid directory.

Line 64 of httpd.conf is: ServerRoot "G:/Server/apache2"

Seems correct to me, furthermore, the same httpd.exe file runs fine on xp machine although it is a different httpd.conf because the thumb is a different drive letter on that system.

I have the same problem on 2 different PC with WIN XP SP2 running mowes from C: disc
Apache dies after starting and this error appears:

(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port)
is normally permitted.  : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

How to fix it?

Make sure that IIS is not running.
Goto command prompt
Type iisreset /stop

Then try restarting Mowes
